When he comes out to his mother after graduating, she sends him to work for his gay uncle, who owns a resort in Palm Springs. There, Ryan and Taylor meet and fall in love, but their relationship is short-circuited by incompatible expectations. Ryan wants sex, variety and adventure; Taylor wants love, stability and romance.
