The American Way

Nineteen-year-old Christian Taylor practically reinvents blond in Junior Studio's The American Way.

But Ashton Ryan gets top billing, as a high school athlete whose career hopes are dashed by a torn ligament. When he comes out to his mother after graduating, she sends him to work for his gay uncle, who owns a resort in Palm Springs. There, Ryan and Taylor meet and fall in love, but their relationship is short-circuited by incompatible expectations. Ryan wants sex, variety and adventure; Taylor wants love, stability and romance. Their alternating narration, addressed directly to the camera, with a billowing American flag in the background - a la Patton - propels the action.

Ashton frankly tells us his seduction of the pool boy (Corey Stevens) is "like a cheap story in a bad magazine... he did me and I did him." Blowjobs ensue.......
